LAUNCHING OF REVISED NATIONAL RANKING POINTS PHASE II JUNIOR NATIONAL RANKING

Following the international Ranking Points System, SLB has taken initiatives to revise the local ranking points system for open events in 2024 and was in force till up to date. By extending the points system to the Junior events to ensure more fare raking system for the junior players, we are happy to launch phase II of the system for the Junior events. Key Features • A new set of points will be awarded based on the age group and the tournament level. • Points will be awarded from the second round onwards to each winner based on their achievement in the draw. • Points Brought Forward facility when a player advancing to the next age category. (only the cumulative of the best six achievements of the 52 weeks cycle) Revised ranking tables are published in the player ranking page and players are advised to check their rankings and must inform in writing via email to [email protected] or [email protected] for any discrepancy before 31/05/2025. Players can view all the past tournament results by clicking the following link. If no complaint or inquiry made on or before 31/05/2025 all the rankings deemed to be correct and will be effective from 01/06/2025. With the implementation of the new points system, the old points system will be discontinued permanently. By revising the junior points system SLB intends to establish fair opportunities for all junior players and include qualifying draws in future tournaments. This will provide a valuable opportunity for the upcoming players to showcase their talents and compete with more confidence.
