Sri Lanka badminton juniors prove their supremacy in the South Asian Region by bagging no less than 7 golds, 5 silvers and 3 bronze medals in addition to taking gold at the all-important mixed team competition in both under 15 & under 17 mixed team championships respectively.
This augurs well for the future of Sri Lanka badminton which is taking progressive development steps to uplift the standards of badminton in the future.
With the passionate cooperation of the ministry of sports and the ministry of education and the unwavering strength of character of the badminton administration led by the president of slb mr. Rohan de silva, the importance laid on developing the youth aiming towards international accomplishments in the next four years seems well on track.
